Glee Season 3 Spoilers: Beiste Side Story!  by Pillowpet
While one co-star revels in a second nomination and another stays busy with hosting duties, Glee star Lea Michele will get her time to shine on the Emmy stage as a presenter, Entertainment Weekly reports. The list also includes the likes of Rob Lowe (Parks & Recreation), Ian Somerhalder (Vampire Diaries), and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family).
We're sure she's stoked, but no more stoked than we are to see what she'll be wearing. No doubt the singing fashionista will impress -- remember last year's ruffled Oscar de la Renta number (pictured right)? Hawt.
Guess we'll wait in gleeful anticipation until the show airs on Sunday, September 18!
We were literally spoiled with all the intel being leaked on Glee's third season last week! This week, however, we were starting to fret that we would languish without anything else until the season premiere on September 20. Fortunately, that all changed last night when The Hollywood Reporter spoke with some of the Glee cast at Fox's Eco-Casino Party.
Just as they were in the Season 2 finale, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) are still hell-bent on returning to New York when they graduate. To that end, Rachel will put all of her energy toward competing for the female lead in McKinley's school musical.
"Rachel is vying for the lead in the school musical and she has a little competition with Mercedes (Amber Riley)," Michele revealed at the event.
Everyone is remaining mum on what the show actually is, but according to rumors circulating in the Tumblr-sphere, it may be West Side Story, since the show features one female lead and one male lead.
Finn (Cory Monteith), Kurt, and Blaine (Darren Criss) are all vying for the male role -- with the play's directors Emma (Jayma Mays), Artie (Kevin McHale), and Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) ultimately deciding whom they will cast.
Apparently, Kurt will do whatever it takes to win! "It wouldn't be Kurt without a big huge musical number that includes dangerous effects," Colfer told the rag. "He definitely tries his hardest to persuade them that he can be this role."
That's fine and dandy, but we're still stuck on the fact that Blaine is auditioning!? Sounds like a pretty clear indication that he'll transfer sooner rather than later.
Just about one week until Glee Season 3 premieres and we've already met Mike Chang's parental units. Now, according to TV Guide, another mom and dad are joining in on the fun! glee season 1
Don Most and Valerie Mahaffey have been cast as Rusty and Rose Pillsbury (of course those are their names...) -- making for a glorious ginger Pillsbury trifecta.
You may remember Don Most as Ralph Malph, the other nerdy ginger from Happy Days (i.e., not Ron Howard) -- and Valerie more recently from Desperate Housewives. So what are the Pillsburys doing in town? Meeting Will Schuester, of course! Apparently, when Will worries why Emma hasn't introduced him to her folks, Coach Beiste encourages him to take charge. Uh oh. Sounds like a terrible idea that Mr. Shue will definitely screw up but do anyway. Sigh. (But secretly: Yay!)
Look out for this parent-teacher conference to air Tuesday, October 4th. And in case you forgot (but, really, how could you?), Glee premieres September 20th.
